Where can I watch a Derby Doll bout?
Currently our events are private. Since our facility is not open to the public, the address is only released upon the purchase of tickets.
How do I get tickets?
What if I am a season ticket holder?
If you are a season ticket holder you will be on our Will Call list at the front door. Just show up and you’re in!
Are tickets available at the bout?
Absolutely, as long as we are not at capacity! We accept cash and credit cards for ticket purchases at the door.
Can I get a refund if I purchased a ticket and can’t attend the bout?
No. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. We are unable to process any refunds or credits for unused tickets.
What type of seating is available?
Priority bleacher setting is available at an additional charge. We have two large, raised sets of bleachers at the perfect angle and location for you to see all of the action. General admission is standing-room only with some raised platforms and limited front row bench seating. With the banked track, it can sometimes be difficult to see all the action while standing. Arrive early to get the best spot!
Are the bouts handicap accessible?
Our facility is not ADA compliant, but we are willing to help you out in any way we can! While purchasing your ticket, let us know how we can help. We are able to provide seating if you are unable to stand for several hours. Unfortunately, due to the stairs in our facility, we are unable to accommodate those bound to wheelchairs.
How old to I have to be to attend a bout?
All-ages are welcome. However, roller derby is a very exhilarating sport and the action and crowd may be overwhelming and loud for children under 2. Earplugs or earphone covers are suggested for young children.
Is there food at the bouts?
Yes. The Derby Dolls have a concessions stand that sells snacks, freshly popped popcorn, pre-packaged food and ice-cold drinks. No alcohol will be served. NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES ALLOWED – ANYONE WITH OUTSIDE BEVERAGES WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE DOLL HOUSE AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED RE-ENTRY!
Can I buy merchandise at the bout?
Yes, there will be merchandise and vendor booths, so you can purchase all your favorite Derby Dolls attire. You can also shop online now.
Will there be other entertainment too?
Yes, most bouts also include a raffle, bout shouts, and half time entertainment.
Is roller derby for real? I heard it's fixed?
Roller derby is for real and it is absolutely NOT fixed! When you attend one of our bouts, you’ll quickly learn that roller derby is a real sport with real rules and real athletes. Our players train seriously for this sport and we uphold and admire the true athleticism of modern roller derby.
Will I be able to follow the action if I don’t know how roller derby is played?
We hope so! We have an overview of how the game is played here. We also have knowledgeable announcers to help keep everyone up to speed on what is happening during each jam, and any penalties incurred. And there are always a handful of league members walking around with “Ask Me” tags at each bout specifically to talk “derby” with you. Brush up on your roller derby lingo with our glossary.
