RegulateHer started her derby in 2008 with WCDK, transferred to banked at LADD and skated for the Sirens and the LA Ri-Ettes. She is currently with Angel City Derby Girls and together with Quadfather runs the juniors program at ACDG, which they founded so that they could give their daughter Lil RegulateHer and all of the other juniors a great derby experience. Fresh from the 2016 JRDA championships, ACJD are ranked #2 in the nation. Http://angelcityderby.com/juniors/
Quadfather started coaching derby in 2008 and has coached adults and juniors on the banked and flat track for West Coast Derby Knockouts, LA Derby Dolls, Sugartown Roller Girls, San Diego Derby Dolls, Ventura County Derby Darlins, and now Angel City Junior Derby. Quad’s main goal, and what he is so good at, is helping skaters reach a level that they never realized was possible.
Lo AKA Lock n Load began her derby career on the banked track with the Los Angeles Derby Dolls in August 2013. She quickly moved up from home team to the Jr LA Ri-Ettes travel team where she skated for two seasons. She spent her last year as a junior skating for California Mayhem and LADD. She finished off the last few months as a member of the newly formed Angel City Junior Derby. Lo matriculated from the Junior to the Adult program at Angel City Derby Girls in August 2015 and was placed on The Hollywood Scarlets in February 2016. She is part of the training team at ACDG where she is the coach of the Road Ragers and steps in to train ACJD when Quad and Reg are away.
Isabelle Ringer has been a member of the San Diego Derby Dolls since January 2006 and played and coached on both flat and banked tracks worldwide for 6 competitive seasons. Ringer has a diverse background of experience and loves the sport of roller derby on any surface. Now retired from competitive play to make more time for parenting, Ringer has spent the last five years as the full time General Manager of the San Diego Derby Dolls. She spends the majority of her time working to grow and promote the sport of banked track roller derby and raising her two young children.
Tsunami has been involved in roller derby for nearly 8 years. Starting as a junior skater with the SDDD Juvenile Dollinquents – the team that she now coaches. Nami also competed with the SFV Fast Times all-star travel team. When turning 18, Tsunami transitioned into the adult league and co-captained the home team Hard Corps. She currently skates for the Wildfires and SoCal’s charter team The Kraken – it is truly the pride and joy of her life. Nami’s favorite thing in the world is playing high level derby with her team. She dedicates all of her free time to skating and improving her game – Tsunami swears she will play derby until she absolutely can’t anymore! …wheelchair derby, anyone?
Bo Toxic is a nine year veteran and has travelled the US playing at the highest level of both banked and flat track derby. Bo is well-versed in transitioning from surface to surface utilizing different rule sets to her advantage. She has captained and coached all levels over the years and is currently a private coach specializing in one on one training. In Roller Derby Bo is in known for her strong communication as a pivot and aggressive blocking style but believes the key to success on any surface is team work. Bo can be found skating street and skate parks during her free time and enjoys introducing others to the many different styles roller skating has to offer.
Olive Rock N Roll has been skating roller rinks since she was young and found roller derby after moving to San Diego. Originally skating on Sparks and Hard Corps, Olive now skates for the Wildfires and also SoCal Derby. When not playing roller derby, Olive can be found around various skate parks in the area. For Playing With Dolls, Olive will be teaching skills on the mini ramp located in the Dollhouse because one of her favorite parts about skating is the empowerment and joy it brings to the people skating!
Hedy LaScar is originally from Lompoc, CA – a small town famous for its flower fields and federal penitentiary. She joined the San Diego Derby Dolls in January 2014 and is still representing her Central Coast pride (805 for life!). She may seem sweet and shy at first but all bets are off once she’s on the track. Hedy is constantly training to become the best all-around player she can be by building her mental and physical strength.
