Skater / 45 Killer Groove

In the Chicago suburbs of the 70's, Killer could be found in the local roller rinks with her Jordache knock-off jeans and pink pom pom skates, grooving to the classic stylings of "Disco Duck" and "King Tut". Killer would go on to trade in her skates for soccer cleats, sprinting spikes and, ultimately, high heels. In February of 2010 a friend informed her that there was roller derby in San Diego and Killer showed up to Derby Doll practice the very next day. Having never seen modern roller derby, Killer immediately fell in love and signed up. Killer had found her Groove and never looked back.
