Tsunami_Wildfires_2017-2

I have been playing roller derby for just under 6 years now. I started as a junior skater with our Juvenile Dollinquents (captain 2011 - 2013). I also competed with the SFV Fast Times all-star travel team. When I turned 18 I transitioned into our adult league and co-captained our home team Hard Corps. I also skate for the Wildfires - it is truly the pride and joy of my life. My favorite thing in the world is playing high level derby with my team. I dedicate all of my free time to skating and improving my game - I will play derby until I absolutely can't anymore! …wheelchair derby, anyone?

Home Town

San Diego, CA

Athletic Background

I competed in Tae Kwon Do for a few years as an early teen, but stopped after a femur fracture. I was never particularly athletic, but I have been a rink rat for years. My Dad always took me to the rink – mostly because he wanted to come up behind me and scare me!

Favorite Quote

“There is a time and a place for glitter – always and everywhere.”

Inspiration

Our Juvenile Dollinquents

Best Skill

Powerful hits, transitions

Biggest Challenge

Accepting when my body is injured and taking the proper amount of rest time
